Manav Sadhna is a non-government organization situated near
Gandhi Ashram in
Ahmedabad,
Gujarat. ‘Manav Sadhna’ is a
Hindi word which means ‘devotion to mankind’.
The trust was formed by a group of young people with a vision to improve the life of poor and needy children through constructive humanitarian projects. Its main areas of work are earthquake rehabilitation, education, health, alternatives to child labor and medical aid to women and children living in the slums. In addition to its regular activities, several field trips and special events are arranged for children every year. Many nutrition centers and hostels are run under the control of Manav Sadhna. The trust has a branch in the US.
