Makarpura is a suburb of
Vadodara in
Vadodara District, situated to the south of the district headquarters. The village is on the Vadodara - Karjan road.
Mango plantations, animal sanctuary and farmlands dot the village. Prime attraction is the Makarpura Palace, now used as a training school by the Indian Air Force.
