Makarpura Palace is situated at
Vadodara, in
Gujarat. It is a beautiful palace designed in the Italian style by Maharaja Khanderao. The palace was renovated by Maharaja Sayaji Rao III.
Makarpura Palace is now used as a training school by the Indian Air Force. There is a deer park situated adjacent to the palace and a summer house which surrounds it.
Vadodara Junction Railway Station, on the Anand-Valsad rail route, is the nearest railhead.
