Majagund

Located about 15 km from Srinagar, Majagund is a village in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is at an altitude of about 5,108 ft above sea level and is just a kilometer away from Chak Sharida Muku.

Ranbergad Partapgad is located in the west and Tengapur in the east. The northern and southern parts are bounded by Panznor and Lawepur respectively. The region offers many short treks and hikes to upland villages.

Majagund can be reached from Srinagar as well as from Baramulla. Udhampur Railway Station, connecting Jammu and Udhampur, is the nearest railhead.
