Mandi District,
Himachal Pradesh. Lying at an elevation of 1,830 m above sea level on the

It is an ancient Pahari style temple and is dedicated to
Lord Karna, locally known as ‘Mahunag’. According to the legend, whenever devotees are in distress and they seek Lord Karna’s help, he transforms himself into a ‘mahu’ (bee) and rushes to their aid. People believe that Lord Karna’s blessings would help them to resolve legal matters and family disputes. Offerings to the deity are in silver.
District records say that the temple was built in 1664 by Raja Shyam Sen, who was a great devotee of Lord Karna.
Sundays are special for visiting the temple. An annual fair is held here on Sanskranti day.
