Krishi Vigyan Kendra, established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), is a district level farm science center in
Baramati. Its main aim is to reduce the time lag between generation of technology at the research institutions and its transfer to the farmer's field.
The center has a well spacious building with facilities such as soil and water analysis laboratory, classrooms and amphitheatre. An Agriculture Technology Information Center and a Green House are also available within the premises. Besides, the center organizes various activities like Kisan Melas, study tours and demonstrations.
