Korukonda

Korukonda is a town situated on the Rajahmundry-Kottapalle road, in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. This place is in close proximity to the National Highway 5.

The town is famous as the ancient Shaiva and Vaishnava place. The temple dedicated to the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu is located here.

Excursions to Suryanarayana Swami Temple (at Peddapuram), Murari, Rajanagaram, Gokavaram and Samalkot will be an enchanting experience.

Rajahmundry Airport is the nearest airport. The convenient railway station is at Rajahmundry, which is about 84 km west of Kakinada.
