Konoma is a scenic village in
Kohima District and it is an ideal place to observe rural Naga life from close quarters. The charming hamlet, with its wooden dwellings, provides a beautiful sight from a distance. Konoma is about 20 km from
Kohima, the district headquarters.
The road to Konoma from Kohima passes through picturesque landscape and the 360o view one would get as the road winds up the hill is of unsurpassable allure. But the trail is not the smoothest of a journey as the road is bumpy and rough. Japfu Peak, Tuophema Village and Dzukou Valley are other tourist places worth visiting around.
Nearest airport and railway station are at Dimapur.
