Kodikonda

Kodikonda is a check post point in the Anantapur District, on the Andhra Pradesh-Karnataka border. Hemavathi, the erstwhile capital of the Pallavas, is situated to the west of this place. Hemavathi Fort and Sidhdheshwaraswami Temple are the major attractions nearby. Hindupur-Kodikonda State Highway serves Kodikonda.

It is surrounded by Bagepalli (5 km) in the south, Chilamatturu (8 km) in the west and Gorantla (17 km) in the north.
