Kochugaon is a small settlement in Kokrajhar District, situated near its border with West Bengal, in Assam. It is the first settlement on Assam side while traveling along National Highway 31. Kochugaon is 40 km west of Sidli.
Kochugaon is surrounded by forests and is a favorite trout fishing locality in Assam. River Sankoshi flows near Kochugaon.
