Kilang Sarai, at 4,600 m above sea level, is a small settlement in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. An ascent of about 3 hours from here leads to the
Baralacha La. A trekking route from
Sarchu towards
Keylong also passes through Kilang Sarai. It is also the meeting place of
Manali to
Leh military road. Kilang Sarai is an excellent campsite for trekkers and mountaineers.
Kilang Sarai is accessible from Tanze.
