Kharosa Caves are the important group of Gupta caves of
Maharashtra. It is located at
Kharosa village in
Latur District.
These caves were built during the 6th century. There are twelve caves, of which one has an image of seated Jins (Jain Tirthankar).
Kharosa is about 45 km from Latur, where the nearest major railway station is situated.
