Kharia

Located on the banks of the sacred Narmada River, Kharia is a small settlement in Dewas District. It is situated towards the district’s southern border with Khandwa District and about 32 km west of Harda, in Madhya Pradesh.

Mandhata Hill, Asirgarh Fort, Nemawar and Omkareshwar are popular tourist destinations.

Devi Ahilya Bai Holeker Airport is the nearest airport. Nepanagar Railway Station and Mhow Railway Station serve Kharia.
