Kelshi




Kelshi is a picturesque coastal village in Ratnagiri District, on the shores of the Arabian Sea. It falls on the Dapoli – Mandangarh route and is about 20 km north-west of Dapoli. Mumbai is 240 km north-west.

The focal point of the place is Mahalakshmi Temple – an ancient shrine dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi. A grand fair is held here annually during Chaitra Shuddh Purnima. Baleshwar, Radha-Krishna Temple, Utambarkarni Devi Temple, Ganapati Temple and Bhai Miya Bhet are the other places of worship in the vicinity.

Khed Railway Station and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport are the nearest access points.
