Katlicherra (also spelt as Katlichara) is a bustling market town in the
Hailakandi District of
Barak Valley. It is bordered by Abdullapur in the west, Lalaghat in the north and Chatachara in the south. The market place at Katlicherra is one of the big markets in the district.
Katlicherra is connected by road with Silchar through National Highway 53 which is popularly known as New Cachar Road (NCR). Katlicherra railway station is a main station on the Katakhal- Bairabi rail route.
