One of the 11 temples of Maniyani (Yadava) community, Kannangat Bhagavathy Temple is situated at
Kokkanisseri in
Kannur District. The presiding deity is Kannangat Bhagavathy.
The annual Kaliyattom festival is held amid much pomp and splendor. A peculiar section of the festival is the largest assemblage of Theyyams such as Puthiya Pothi, Madayil Chamundi, Vishnumoorthi and Kundor Chamundi. Various cultural programs are also arranged as part of the celebrations.
