Kokkanisseri

Kokkanisseri is a coastal town in Kannur District of Kerala and is 2 km north-west of Payyanur.

The place holds two temples namely, Kannangat Bhagavathy Temple and Madathumpadi Temple. Nileswaram and Peringome (north), Taliparamba (East), Ramanthali (south) are among the surrounding places.

Kannur is around 35 km south of Kokkanisseri. Mangalore Airport is 98 km north and Calicut Airport is 135 km south. Payyanur Railway Station is the closest railhead.
