Kalkali Ghat is a small town situated in the
Assam’s extreme south-western district of
Karimganj. It is bounded by
Ratabari in the east and Sonakhira in the south.
Patharkandi, endowed with lush green fields, beautiful tea gardens and water bodies, is the main tourist attraction.
Kalkali Ghat is the entry point for Tripura. A metre-gauge railway line at Kalkali Ghat links the town of Kumarghat in North Tripura District.
