Rabindranath Tagore, Kala Bhavana is considered as one of the famous centers for visual art practice and research in India. Housed inside the
Visva Bharati University complex in
Shantiniketan, the center offers diploma, under graduate and post graduate courses in painting, sculpture, graphic art, art history and design. A course in Indian Art is also conducted.
