Jigni

Jigni is a small settlement in Morena District, Madhya Pradesh. It lies about 10 km north-east of Morena.

It was a former princely state during the reign of Bundela dynasty. Now, it is the home for Sahariyas, a primitive tribal community mostly found in Rajasthan.

Sinhoniya, National Chambal Sanctuary and Pahargarh cave paintings are the major tourist spots to visit.

The nearest airport is at Gwalior. Morena Railway Station and Bhind Railway Station serve Jigni.
