Jamnath Mosque is situated at the administrative headquarters of
Lakshadweep. It is one of the fifty two mosques in the
Kavaratti Island. The mosques's intricate carvings in wood are a fine example of the skill of the Kavaratti craftsmen. It has a ceiling carved out of driftwood. There is a well in the mosque which is believed to have medicinal water.
