Jamnath Mosque




Jamnath Mosque is situated at the administrative headquarters of Lakshadweep. It is one of the fifty two mosques in the Kavaratti Island. The mosques's intricate carvings in wood are a fine example of the skill of the Kavaratti craftsmen. It has a ceiling carved out of driftwood. There is a well in the mosque which is believed to have medicinal water.
