Isru is a small village lying 13 km south-west of
Khanna in
Ludhiana District. A historic
gurdwara appends holiness to this place.
Devotees believe that Isru was sanctified by the presence of
Guru Hargobind. An old inn called Purani Sarai is a nearby attraction. The biggest grain market in Asia is easily reachable from here.
The nearest railhead from Isru is Khanna Railway Station and
Ludhiana Airport serves this area.
