Hornadu, a famous center of pilgrimage, is situated on the outer bank of river
Bhadra, about 100 km south-west of
Chikmagalur. It is famous for the ancient
Annapoorneswari Temple. The place is attracted by a large number of pilgrims. Boarding and lodging are provided free by the temple trust.
