The
Annapoorneswari Temple is an ancient temple located at the picturesque village Ornadu, about 10 km from Kalasa. The chief deity of this temple, Goddess Annapoorneswari,another name for
Parvati, is believed to have been installed by the sage
Agastya. The four handed goddess carries the Shanku and Sri Chakram. In later periods, renowned astrologer Venkitasubba Jois designed and renovated the sanctum.
