Located 6 km from
Secunderabad, Hasmathpet is a historic village near
Kukatpally in
Rangareddy District of
Andhra Pradesh.
Excavations done here by the department of Archeology in collaboration with Birla Archeological and Cultural Research Institute of Hyderabad revealed artifacts such as brass bell, pottery and iron chain. Burials were also excavated from here.
