Gwalior Gate




Built in 1660 by a Governor of Gwalior during the rule of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir, Gwalior Gate is on the northeastern side of the Gwalior Fort. It is also called Alamgir Gate. Gwalior is on the Delhi- Chennai railway line. Gwalior Airport is 9 km north-east of the city.
