Gujarat Agriculture University was established in 1972. It imparts three year undergraduate courses in agriculture, fisheries, and home science. Post graduate courses are also available. Faculty of Forestry and Horticulture, Faculty of Dairy Science, and Faculty of Agriculture Engineering and Technology are the other departments in the University.
