Dantiwada is located in Banaskantha District of Gujarat. It is around 20 km north of Palanpur. The Dantiwada Dam is located on the outskirts of the town. Another major landmark in this town is the Gujarat Agricultural University.
Balaram Ambaji Wild Life Sanctuary is located nearby. This sanctuary forms the separation point between the Dantiwada Dam and Dharoi Dam.
