Girad

Girad is located in the southeastern part of Wardha District in Maharashtra and lies near the district’s border with Nagpur District. It is around 20 km east of Samudrapur.

Girad is famous for the dargah of Baba Farid. Scores of devotees visit the dargah making it one of the most important religious centers in Vidarbha.

Sonegaon Airport is the nearest airport. Wardha Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
