Dzulakie




Situated at an altitude of 2,134 m, Dzulakie is a beautiful place situated in the Kohima District of Nagaland. This ideal getaway is around 40 km from the town of Kohima. Surrounded by lush evergreen sub-tropical forests, this place has a stream that flows through a deep and narrow gorge. The stream is home to a variety of rainbow trout. The picturesque surrounding of this place is perfect for riverside camping and picnics. It has several deep gorges and cascading waters. Here, one can see Mithuns (Bos Frontalis) grazing gently by the roadsides. Blythe's Tragopan, a rare species of pheasant, is found in the surrounding forests. Dimapur Airport and Dimapur Railway Station are the nearest airport and railhead respectively.
