Dighori




Dighori is a small town near the banks of Wainganga River, right on Chandrapur District’s northern border with Wardha District, in Maharashtra. It is located 11 km north of Brahmapuri and 15 km north-east of Nagbhir. Pauni, on the other side of the border, is 20 km to the north-west of Dighori.

Tadoba - Andharai Tiger Reserve, Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary are popular wildlife haunts in the district. Chikaldara Wildlife Sanctuary, Gugamal National Park and Wan Sanctuary in Amaravati District are all within easy access from Dighori. The safari in Melghat Tiger Reserve is a not-to-miss adventure. The natural trails around Moharli and Tadoba, Tadoba Museum and Ramdegi Temple and the Jain Temple at Bhadravati provide other tourist options for visitors to this place.
