Digambara Anjaneya Temple is located at
Namakkal in
Tamil Nadu. The temple enshrines a 18 ft tall idol of Anjaneya (
Lord Hanuman). The deity is installed in ‘anjalihasta’ posture facing and worshipping Lord Lakshmi Narashima who is about 250 ft away.
Most noteworthy feature of the shrine is that the eye of Anjaneya is in straight line with the feet of Lord Lakshmi Narashima. The imprint of the footsteps of Anjaneya Swami can be seen in the Kamalalam tank steps.
