Cochin College, sponsored by the Cochin Educational Society, is a first grade institution in
Ernakulam District of
Kerala. It was set up in 1967 in response to a growing demand for higher education in
Kochi.
The college offers graduate and post graduate courses in arts, science and commerce. Apart from the prescribed syllabus, it encourages the full development of the latent potentialities of the young scholars.
Cochin College, which marks a significant sign in the crowded history of the commercial town of Kochi, is on the Fort Kochi-Thoppumpadi road, around 5 km from Thoppumpadi.
