Chikhali

Chikhali is a small town lying midway between Wadki and Ralegaon, near Yavatmal District’s eastern border with Wardha District, in Maharashtra. Alipur is on the other side of the border, about 20 km to the north-east of Chikhali.

Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary, Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary and Bor Wildlife Sanctuary are exciting resorts in the wilderness. Chintamani of Kalamb, Sahstrakund Waterfalls, Mahadeo Temple at Moho village, Vinoba Bhave's Ashram at Paunar and Gandhiji's Ashram at Sevagram are other tourist places within easy access from Chikhali.

Sonegaon Airport at Nagpur and Hinganghat Railway Station serve Chikhali.
