The Chandika Temple is in Kothi,
Kinnaur District of
Himachal Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Chandika, also known as Shuwang Chandika. The natives of the place consider her as a powerful goddess and perform rituals and worship. In the temple, there is a golden image of the goddess, seated in an ark. As part of the rituals, the image is swung up and down by four persons at the time of worship. The temple does not have any architectural or sculptural beauty, but the wooden doorway to the temple resembles the one in the nearby Mahadev Temple.
