Located in
Lalitpur District in
Uttar Pradesh, Bijrotha falls under the jurisdiction of Talbehat
taluk. It is located to the north of
Lalitpur, halfway between
Jakhaura and Talbehat.
The prime attraction of Bijrotha is an ancient Baithak (conference or sitting place), which is now under the purview of the Directorate of Archeology, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Around 8 km north of the town is Talbehat Fort, a 17th century fort surrounded by a large swamp.
Bijrotha Railway Station is on the Bhopal-Jhansi rail line. Civil Airport Khajuraho is the nearest airport.
