Bhaktivedanta Ashram, established in 1991, is situated at
Bhadrak, in
Orissa. The ashram aims to propagate the teachings of Sanatana Dharma as taught by
Lord Krishna in the
Bhagavad Gita.
Bhaktivedanta Ashram engages in social service activities such as food distribution to the poor, education to the underprivileged children and spiritual education among the common people. Its educational wing, Bhaktivedanta Academy, conducts spiritual courses in schools and colleges throughout India for creating spiritual awareness among students.
