Bhailam is one of the famous dance forms of
Hrongkhols, a tribe of
Assam. It is a special dance to welcome guests into the village. In this dance form, the male dancers wear Huria, Kamis, Lukom, Changkaltak and the female participants wear Ponbomtak, Ponamnei, Kongkhit and Thepbop. Ornaments such as Jakcher, Chumhrui and Lirthei are also used in this dance form.
Darlam, Soksolkirlam, Doinkini, Rochemiam and Soksollam are the other main dance forms of these tribes.
