Bhagwan Nityananda was one of south India’s renowned saints. He was the
guru of the world famous
Swami Muktananda. Bhagwan Nityananda was based at
Ganeshpuri,
Maharashtra. He is believed to be a Janma Siddha (a person, self realized by birth). At Ganeshpuri, he initiated Swami Muktananda, who later became a Siddha Yogi.
Bhagwan Nityananda's teachings have been published in a book called 'Chidakash Gita,' published in 1927.
A temple dedicated to Bhagwan Nityananda exists in upstate, New York, U S A.
