Balaji Temple




Balaji Temple is a famous temple located at Panchkula town, about 15 km from Chandigarh. This temple resembles the famous Venkateshwara temple of Tirupati.

The Balaji shrine houses the beautiful idol of Lord Venkateshwara. The idols of Shri Devi and Bhu Devi, are kept on either side of Lord Venkateshwara. The daily pujas of this temple are in the tradition of those at the Tirupati temple. The Andhra community of Chandigarh manages the daily activities of this temple.

Shri Kartikeya Swami Temple is the main attraction nearby. Devotees can also visit Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple.
