Bailkhad

Perched at an altitude of about 1,840 ft above sea level, Bailkhad is a beautiful town in Jammu District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 16 km from Jammu. Naulsula in the west, Thandapani in the north, Tara in the east and Bhairgiran in the south are the nearby towns. Religious and tourist interest in the zone include Bahu Fort, Ziarat Peer Mitha, Peer Khoh, Surinsar Mansar Wildlife Sanctuary and Surinsar Mansar Wildlife Sanctuary.

The nearest airport is Jammu Airport. Jammu Tawi Railway Station on the Jammu - Pathankot line serves Bailkhad.
