Badarpur

Badarpur is a town located in Karimganj District, Assam. It is about 308 km from Guwahati and 211 km from Itanagar. The place is an industrial area in the state. Barak river separates itself into two branches (Surma and Kushiyara) near Badarpur.

Badarpur Junction Railway Station serves the place. National Highway 44 touches Badarpur whereas it is the main route of the National highway 53.
