Archaeological Museum is situated at
Ganganagar, about 260 km north of
Bikaner, in
Rajasthan. The museum exhibits excavated materials from
Kalibanga such as figurines (of animals, birds and animals), beads of shell copper and copper and terracotta, bangles, weights, copper and other objects of pre- Harappan and Harappan period.
The museum occasionally conducts film shows. The museum has a well-stocked library. Photography is allowed upon obtaining permission from the director.
Archaeological Museum is open from 10:00 to 17:00 hrs on all days except Fridays and public holidays.
