Anowa is situated in the Nancowry sub division of
Nicobar District. It is located at 7° 58' 0" N latitude and 93° 32' 60" E longitude. The nearby cities and towns are Olenchi and Tapuye in the west, Enounga and Mattai-ta-hoe in the north and Heya in the south. Majority of the people are tribals.
The nearest airport is at Car Nicobar.
