Angireeshwarar Temple is located in
Kanchipuram, near the Santhaleeshwarar Temple. It is dedicated to Angireeshwarar, one of the seven sages or the
Saptarshis. The idol of
Lord Shiva enshrined here was worshipped by Sage
Angiras.
