Ambaturai

Located in Dindigul District, Ambaturai is a small town situated on National Highway 7, between Dindigul and Madurai.

Gandhigram Institute of Rural Health and Family Welfare Trust, one of the largest institutions of its kind in India, is situated here. Kodaikanal, the famous hill station, is only 15 km from here.

Ambaturai Railway Station serves the town. The nearest major town is Dindigul (12 km) and the nearest airport is Madurai Airport.
