Alampur, home of the Nava Brahma Temples, is situated within a miniature fortress near
Kurnool, on the western bank of the
Tungabhadra River. It is a group of nine temples dedicated to
Lord Shiva, built by Badami
Chalukyas. They date back to the 7th century.
