Agia, a small scenic village on the road to
Guwahati, is 10 km south of
Goalpara. It is well-known for its
Urpad Beel, one of the biggest lakes of lower
Assam. The lake and its environs is a favorite haunt of birds. The villagers earn their livelihood through fishing activity in the lake.
