Kashikhagra is a small settlement on the
Assam-
Meghalaya border in
Goalpara District.
One of the biggest lakes of lower Assam, Urpad Beel, is 10 km from here. This is an ideal place for both picnickers and bird watchers. Nearby places include Baida to the west, Agia to the north, Krishnai, Bangsi and Dudhnai to the east and Bajengdoba in Meghalaya to the south.
Goalpara Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport is the nearest airport.
