Adil Shah Mosque

Adil Shah Mosque is at Tar Surla, about 17 km from Bicholim. It was built during the reign of Adil Shah. The mosque was renovated in 1967. The tank found in the mosque is a fine example of Adil Shahi architecture. It is a miniature of the tank that found in Safa Mosque in Ponda. It was constructed of laterite blocks. The mosque is 32 metres in length and 24 metres in breadth. The tank is approachable by means of steps. Chambers are provided to offer namaz.

The site is located about 31 km from Panaji, the capital city of Goa.
